Our Winter 2020 issue features an inspiring final message from the President and an update from the Board sharing long-term goals for AMTE. You will find articles on equity, anti-racist practice, and a teacher learning cycle, along with a special collection of articles on field experiences during this challenging time of COVID-19. This issue provides important information on the upcoming Annual Conference, including session announcements on publishing in AMTE’s journals and the Karen King Advocacy Award. Also highlighted are the 2021 Award Recipients, the Teaching Math Teaching podcast, and research questions for us to consider related to the 2018 NSSM+ findings.

The 25th Annual Conference of the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators will be held virtually February 11-13 and 18-20, 2021.
Call for Chapter Proposals: Professional Book Series, Volume 5
AMTE seeks chapter proposals for its new book, Reflection on Past, Present and Future: Paving the Way for the Future of Mathematics Teacher Education, that will serve as a resource to guide the future of mathematics teacher education and move the field forward. We seek proposals from a wide audience of individuals who grapple with how best to prepare and support teachers to teach mathematics.
Deadline for chapter proposals: January 18, 2021
The CITE-Math Journal welcomes new Editorial Panel member Jason Silverman. His term begins immediately and concludes February 2024.
Connections is a quarterly online publication of the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators. The newsletter offers a peer-reviewed opportunity for members to disseminate information to the mathematics teacher education community.
