The primary purpose of this job is to support research efforts for grant-funded research projects by planning research projects and conducting analyses. This position will design research studies in collaboration with the project team and assist in the analysis of the collected data. This position maintains constant communication with the project team and provides day-to-day guidance on decisions related to the research projects. The applicant will write manuscripts describing the findings from the studies.

The School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado invites nominations and applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education, position #FP99898.  This 9-month non-tenure-track position requires a Doctorate in Mathematics Education with graduate coursework in mathematics or a Doctorate in Mathematics with demonstrable achievement in mathematics education research.

Our flagship high school, Brooklyn Ascend High School (BAHS), opened to 9th grade students in September 2015 and will expand by a grade per year through grade 12.

Tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Mathematics at the Assistant Professor level. Primary responsibilities relate to teaching undergraduate mathematics courses, including implementing effective teaching strategies and developing curriculum. Scholarly activity and university service are also expected.
