Joel Amidon is Associate Professor and Coordinator of Doctoral Programs for the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Mississippi. Joel completed his doctoral studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research is around the improvement of pedagogy to address issues of equity and diversity. Simply put, his aim is to lead people to love others through mathematics education. Joel has served AMTE previously as the Associate Vice President of Marketing and is co-host of the Teaching Math Teaching Podcast.
