The 2015 Annual AMTE Conference featured outstanding speakers, thought-provoking sessions, and inclusive opportunities to share, network, and collaborate with other mathematics teacher educators. This page contains archival information for attendees.

At a Glance

  1. Conference sessions will begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday.
  2. Conference sessions run all day Thursday and Friday.
  3. Saturday sessions run all morning.
  4. The conference ends at about 1:15 PM on Saturday after the lunch and business meeting.
  5. The following meals are included in the conference registration fee:
    • Thursday: Lunch and afternoon break (dinner is on your own after the General Plenary Session)
    • Friday: Breakfast, lunch, afternoon break, and dinner
    • Saturday: Breakfast and lunch

Nadine Bezuk is the Director of the School of Teacher Education and the Qualcomm Endowed Professor of Mathematics Education at San Diego State University, where she has taught since 1987.

General Session Speaker

Margaret (Peg) Smith is a Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Instruction and Learning in the School of Education and a Senior Scientist at the Learning Research and Development Center, both at the University of Pittsburgh.
