The School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences is excited to announce the search for an inaugural CDIS Learning Center Director.
This position will lead creation of the new Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS) Learning Center (LC) helping to support undergraduate students enrolled in introductory CDIS courses. CDIS is home to growing academic programs in Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Statistics and Information Sciences. The CDIS Learning Center will be located at the heart of the student-centered Commons space in the new CDIS building opening in 2025.
The Director will work with CDIS leadership, and faculty and staff from across the departments, to build a welcoming physical space in the new CDIS building, coordinate existing successful learning support programs (e.g., tutoring, peer mentors, Wisconsin Emerging Scholars), and build new programs to enhance support for students from underrepresented groups and diverse student populations in CDIS courses. As the LC grows, the candidate will supervise other professional staff and student employees who carry out the mission of the LC.
Required
Master's Degree or higher required; educational background in computer science, statistics or math preferred.

Salary Information:
The typical starting salary for this position is $75,000 - $100,200 depending on qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is $75,000 - $130,300.
