We are particularly interested in candidates who are committed to research in the scholarship of teaching and learning and to developing a thriving, diverse undergraduate mathematics and STEM program through research-based approaches. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate the potential to contribute to the department’s commitment to increase access and opportunities for populations that are currently underrepresented in the STEM fields. To that end, we request that candidates’ letters of application address potential contributions toward including and empowering students from all backgrounds.
