Summary of Job Duties: This position is a tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities: (1) teach graduate and undergraduate level courses in elementary/childhood education, including elementary math methods and STEM project-based mathematics; (2) conduct research projects both individually and in collaboration with other faculty; (3) publish the results of scholarship in refereed venues; (4) obtain external funding to support research and curriculum development endeavors; (5) participate in student advisement and mentoring, including service on graduate student advisory and dissertation committees; and (6) provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.
