Berkeley Preparatory School (Tampa, Florida) seeks a new Upper Division Math Teacher starting in August 2018. Big Back Pack LLC is recruiting candidates for Berkeley Preparatory School as part of a national search for a new Mathematics Teacher.
Berkeley Preparatory School is looking for an experienced Mathematics Teacher to teach in its Upper Division (grades 9-12). Competitive candidates can come from all corners of academia including private, independent, public education, or university environments. Experience teaching in your own classroom is a requirement for this position.

Qualifications and credentials:

Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred. Mathematics, mathematics education, or related field.

Versatility to teach across the curriculum, Honors Algebra through Trigonometry and Honors Precalculus. Teaching Advanced Placement or Calculus is not a requirement for this position.

Direct experience in an independent school is desirable, although not required.

Track record of working outside the classroom to offer extra assistance, particularly one-on-one with students.

Experience in mentoring students through clubs and organizations.
