Habib University is an undergraduate liberal arts and sciences institution that welcomed its first class of students in Fall 2014. Its unique framework which is strongly embedded in a liberal arts setting, offers its students the breadth and depth of knowledge in the humanities, social sciences and the natural sciences through a rigorous Core Curriculum, coupled with intensive knowledge in these disciplines, a host of technical skills and vital soft skills; qualities that are highly expected of graduates trained for the global workplace. The university is currently offering four undergraduate degree programs including Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Social Development & Policy and Communication & Design and minor programs in Physics, Mathematics, Language and Literature and Comparative Liberal Studies . With highly qualified faculty and a faculty student ratio of 1:12, the University ensures that each student gets the right assistance that is unique to their needs and is inspired by their individual passion and enthusiasm.
