Make your plans now to attend the 2025 AMTE Annual Conference in Reno, NV on February 6-8, 2025. The conference will begin on Thursday morning.
The Call for Proposals for this year’s conference recently closed on May 15th. New this year, you had an opportunity to submit to a hybrid session. There are plans to have two rooms designated for hybrid sessions for the entire conference. Look for more information about this in the Fall 2024 issues of Connections. In addition, the Program Committee received 346 proposal submissions and had 143 volunteers to serve as reviewers! Speaker notification of acceptance is approximately August 15, 2024.
The conference site is the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV. The hotel room rate is $69 (plus taxes and resort fees) for a single or double room Tuesday through Thursday and $149 (plus taxes and resort fees) for a single or double room Friday and Saturday. The resort fee includes:
- Access to 24-hour Fitness Center
- Pool
- Unlimited local and toll-free phone class,
- Two bottles of water and coffee in room per day
- Beverage refrigerator and in-room safe
- Boarding pass printing services
- Computer access in the Business Center 24 hours a day
- Valet and self-parking
- Roundtrip airport shuttle service
- Virtual guest service assistance
The deadline for hotel reservations is January 13, 2025 or when the room block is full. Filling the rooms in our block at the conference hotel helps to reduce some of the conference expenses paid by AMTE, so please help support AMTE by staying at the conference hotel. Information about hotel reservations will be on the AMTE website in August.
Beginning in August, the conference registration process will open on the AMTE website. Speaker registration is required by September 15, 2024, and the Regular Registration deadline is November 30, 2024. Early registration at reduced rates is available through September 30, 2024.
