The Professional Development Committee invites everyone to attend these upcoming webinars and virtual institutes:

• October 12, 3:00 - 4:30 pm ET, a webinar will be facilitated by the ESTEEM (Enhancing Statistics Teacher Education with E-Modules) group that focuses on statistics education. The title for the webinar is: “The Growing Role of Statistics and Data Science in Grades 6-12 Education: Implications for Mathematics Teacher Educators.” A session description and registration information will follow in the coming weeks. 
• November 9, 11:30 am ET - 4:00 pm ET, a virtual institute will be facilitated by the Professional Development Committee. The title of this year's institute is: “Considerations for Designing, Teaching, and Assessing Methods of Teaching Mathematics Courses.” The institute will include concurrent sessions specific to both elementary and secondary methods courses.
