AMTE 2019 Annual Conference Information

Make your plans now to attend the 2019 AMTE Annual Conference in Orlando, FL on February 7-9, 2019.

Some of the highlighted conference sessions include:

Thursday's Opening Session will address issues of equity; presenters will be announced at a future date.

The AMTE poster session will be held Friday afternoon.

Friday's Judith E. Jacobs Lecture will be presented by Denise A. Spangler, Bebe Aderhold Professor in Early Childhood Education, Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, and Dean of the College of Education at the University of Georgia.

The Business Meeting will occur during Saturday's lunch.

Please join us for the following meals, breaks, and receptions:

NEW: This year coffee and tea will be served prior to the Opening Session on Thursday morning; the hotel has several options for breakfast on your own.

On Thursday, lunch and afternoon break will be provided; dinner is on your own. 

Immediately after the last sessions on Thursday, the Reception for Graduate Students and Early Career Faculty will be held.

On Friday, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon break will be provided; dinner is on your own.

Immediately after the Jacobs Lecture on Friday, a reception for all conference attendees will be held.

On Saturday, breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The conference hotel is The Rosen Plaza in Orlando, Florida. The hotel room rate is $179 for a room with single or double occupancy. Make your reservation by Friday, November 30, 2018 to get our special conference room rates. Please be aware that the conference room block may be sold out early. Once the room block is full, the hotel will accept reservations at the prevailing rate and only on a space-available basis. We encourage you to reserve your room soon!

Conference registration is now available on the AMTE website. Registration fees vary by deadline date.  Conference registration is limited; please register early. The registration deadline is November 30, 2018. Early registration, at reduced rates, is available through September 30th. There is NO on-site registration; you must register prior to the conference.
