The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics with a specialty in Mathematics Education. This is a nine-month tenure-track appointment reporting to the chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. The position starts August 1, 2023.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To increase student achievement in grades K-5 math by continuing to improve the quality of instruction in
the elementary math program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college; Master’s degree preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject level assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Effective oral and written communications
A high degree of success in current assignment
Demonstrated leadership experience

Crescent Academy is currently hiring a Math Teacher for the upcoming school year for the middle school.
