NCTM has offerings designed to benefit teacher educators, their students, and the profession. The Council offers specifically-designed kits of NCTM materials to help teacher educators introduce the benefits of membership to their students. NCTM also offers minisubscriptions of NCTM journals to students.
Each kit contains three recent issues of an NCTM journal - either Teaching Children Mathematics, Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School, or Mathematics Teacher - depending on the teaching level. The kit also includes the NCTM News Bulletin, an Educational Materials Catalog, informational brochures, and a catalog of NCTM products. The price of the kit is $9.
The minisubscription is a four-month subscription of current NCTM journals, namely, Teaching Children Mathematics or Mathematics Teacher. (Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School is not available as a minisubscription offering.) The fall minisubscription includes September, October, November and December issues; the spring minisubscription includes the January, February, March and April issues. No other materials accompany the journals. The minisubscription is $9.
