Illinois State University Mathematics Specialization for Junior High/Middle School Education Program

The Mathematics Specialization for middle school majors in the Department of Mathematics at Illinois State University is part of an undergraduate degree program in the College of Education. Students majoring in junior high/middle school education are required to complete two fields of study, each of at least 18 hours, in one of the following areas: Art, English (Language Arts), Industrial Technology, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Reading, Science, and Social Sciences. The Mathematics Specialization requires 30 semester hours taken from the following courses:
